1. Information we collect
We collect only what we need to run the Service:
- Account details: your email address, and basic profile information (such as your name) if you sign in with Google.
- Practice data: your translations, revisions, annotations, follow-up messages, scores and review history.
- Preferences: interface language and time zone.
- Technical data: IP address and browser information, used for security, rate limiting and bot protection.
- Messages you send us through the contact form.
2. How we use it
We use this information to provide and secure the Service: to authenticate you, grade your submissions and generate feedback, build your progress and weak-point history, answer your messages, and prevent abuse. We do not sell your personal information and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
3. AI processing
To grade your work and answer follow-up questions, the relevant texts are sent to third-party AI model providers. They process this content to return a result to us. Avoid including personal or confidential information in the texts you submit.
4. Service providers
We rely on providers that process data on our behalf, including:
- authentication and database hosting (Supabase);
- application hosting (Vercel, Amazon Web Services);
- AI model providers for grading and feedback;
- bot protection (Cloudflare Turnstile) and rate limiting (Upstash);
- email delivery for contact-form messages.
5. Cookies and local storage
We use strictly necessary cookies and browser storage to keep you signed in and to remember your language. We do not use advertising cookies.
6. Storage, security and retention
Data may be stored and processed outside your country by our service providers. We use encryption in transit and access controls to protect it. We keep your data while your account is active and delete it within a reasonable period after you ask us to close your account, unless we must keep it by law.
7. Your choices and rights
You can view your profile and history in the app, and ask us for a copy of your data, its correction or its deletion. Depending on where you live, privacy laws such as the Australian Privacy Principles may give you further rights. Contact us to make a request; you may also complain to your local privacy regulator.
8. Children
The Service is intended for adults preparing for professional exams and is not directed at children.
9. Changes and contact
We will post any changes on this page with a new date. Questions about privacy can be sent through the contact page.
